Umrah Visa for Nigerian citizens

Trusted by 100,000+ travellers worldwide

Do Nigerian citizens need a visa for Umrah?

Dedicated Umrah visa

Yes — Nigerian citizens need a dedicated Umrah visa, arranged through a Saudi-approved travel agent, as they are not currently eligible for the Saudi tourist eVisa. There is no need to queue at an embassy: VisitsVisa manages the Umrah visa application end to end, verifies your documents, and emails your approved visa in time for your trip.

Umrah visa guide for Nigerian citizens

Nigerian citizens perform Umrah on a dedicated Umrah visa rather than the tourist eVisa. It is issued through an approved agent and, like all Umrah visas, is valid outside the Hajj season and allows a stay to complete your pilgrimage and visit Medina.

VisitsVisa handles the entire process for Nigerian citizens: we complete the official application, check every document against current Saudi requirements, submit it, and keep you updated until your approved visa arrives by email. We also guide you through booking your free Nusuk Umrah permit.
